By placing relevant adverts on your website or blog, it informs your visitors of services offered elsewhere on the internet, if your visitor clicks on the advert presumably to findout more about the service, you get paid.
How to get started
Step 1 - Signing up for a free blog
1. To start your own blog, Go to Blogger.com and click on 'create your blog now'.
Enter your email address and other details and click 'continue' make sure you remember your password.
2. Create a title for your blog, this is usually the topic of your blog.

For example: if you want to use your name as the blog address, enter your name without any spaces e.g. [ johnsmith ]. your web address will look like this: http://johnsmith.blogspot.com or www.johnsmith.blogspot.com.
4. Now your blog has been created, click on 'start posting'.

Step 2 - Applying for a Google Adsense account
Before you apply to Google Adsense, make sure you've published at least one post on your blog. Google will need to look at it in order to understand the topic of your blog.
The application review will take 1 to 2 working days, Google will notify you via email if your application has been aproved.
Your application may be rejected if your blog contains: adult material, racial or hatefull content, fire arms related content. therefore be sure to avoid those topics.

Once approved, go to your blog account and navigate to the template settings area where you will find options for integrating your ads within the template itself. After this you wont need to do anything else; with each post you make, relevant ads will be inserted automatically.
